Julie is passionate about educating women on the power of planning. Because women live longer, earn less, and are more inclined to be caregivers for young children and aging family members, Julie understands that women sometimes need convincing to also take care of themselves. Having lost her first and oldest friend to domestic violence, and having survived breast cancer, Julie feels privileged to give back to the community of women who assisted her invaluably during those challenges. In order to do this, Julie hosts an educational series for women called Illuminate and speaks to a variety of companies and churches around the city to express her message that planning in and of itself is a gift to your family and those you love.
