Ed Hafer

Ed helps fiduciaries and business owners navigate legal challenges, both in litigation and in transactional and compliance settings. Ed’s clients have included directors, officers, accountants, attorneys, and owners of closely held entities as well as those entities themselves. Ed has helped clients through lawsuits involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, negligence, trade secrets, unfair competition, trademark violations, fraudulent transfers, and breach of contract. Ed has also helped clients address employment, asset transfer, and other issues that they must overcome to succeed in demanding business environments and has represented clients in their interactions with the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration, Patent and Trademark Office, National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Ed is a passionate fan of food and wine, as well as a being the very proud father of a wonderful daughter. He has a strong interest in the growing field of law specific to food labeling, safety, and production.
