Same sex partners in Colorado face specific challenges as they prepare for a future together. The Graduate School of Social Work assembled a dynamic panel of experts to discuss the specialized needs of same sex partners and strategies to address them.

Topics will include current legal status of civil unions and same-sex marriage, practical considerations regarding entering into and dissolving civil unions, retirement planning, socially responsible investing, estate planning, parental rights and guardianship. The format will be interactive with plenty of opportunity for Q&A.
